Tim Pernetti





This 1989 Ramapo graduate has taken his great Ramapo athletic career in a new direction; he is currently an Executive Vice President with College Sports Television, as well as the TV and radio analyst for Rutgers football, National College football and NFL football. He is also the youngest executive in sports television currently overseeing programming of a national cable network.

At Ramapo, Tim won seven letters: three in basketball and four in football. As a TE/LB in football, he was named to the All-Suburban, All-League, All-County and All- state teams his senior year. He also represented the North team in the New Jersey High School North/South All Start Football Game. For his accomplishments in football, Tim received a full football scholarship to Rutgers University.
On the basketball court, Tim was a three year letter winner and was named All-Suburban, All-League and All-County his senior year.

At Rutgers, Tim continued his football career, earning four varsity letters and the prestigious NJN & ESPN Student/Athlete Awards for academic and athletic achievement.

Since graduating from Rutgers, Tim has continued garnering awards.  He was recently named one of seven “people to Watch” in 2007 by 201 Magazine.  He has also been nominated the last three years for “40 under 40” which recognizes the forty most powerful people in sports media under the age of 40.
Tim resides in Oakland with his wife Danielle and their two sons, Conor, age seven, and Max, age five. Tim and Danielle are expecting a third child is due in March.
