Stephanie Smith






A 1999 Ramapo graduate, Stephanie was an outstanding soccer player at Ramapo, earning four varsity letters, and also lettered in basketball.  Stephanie’s incredible numbers on the soccer field (career 165 goals and 47 assists; 58 goals in 1998) broke school, County, and State records.   Her prowess on the field earned her First Team honors at the League (3), County (3), State (2), and National levels and also earned her recognition as 1998 Star Ledger Player of the Year, 1998 NJGSCA Player of the Year, Bergen record Athlete of the Week, ESPN Scholastic Sports America Athlete, and one of Sports Illustrated’s “Faces in the Crowd”. Stephanie led Ramapo to three consecutive state titles (1996-1998), helped the Raiders become the #1 Ranked girls soccer team in the nation (1996), helped keep Ramapo nationally ranked for four years, and was a Tri-Captain of the 1998 team.

Stephanie attended Columbia University, earned a Master’s degree in Public Health, and is currently attending Medical School.
