Mike Patton





Mike was a phenomenal pitcher and basketball player for the Raiders, earning two baseball and three basketball letters before graduating in 1981.  He had 227 career strikeouts, a 1.11 ERA, a record of 23-3, and pitched a no-hitter versus Pascack Valley in 1979.  Mike earned First Team All-League, All-County, and All-State honors as well as earning a spot as a Daily News All-Star and a spot on the New Jersey All-Star team.

After Ramapo, Mike continued his pitching at Seton Hall University where he won numerous accolades, including the 1981 Fireman Award (Best Reliever), being a 20th round draft pick (Pirates) in 1982, winning the Owen T. Carroll Memorial Award (Best Pitcher) in 1983, and being a 9th round draft pick (Astros) in 1984.

Mike, his wife, Julie, and their children, Mary Virginia (10), Catherine (8), and Jimmy (7) live in Dublin, Ohio.   He is a Senior Vice-President/Divisional President with Greif Insurance and, in his spare time, enjoys golf, muscle cars, and time with his family.
