Michele Mulfinger






A 1985 Ramapo graduate, Michele was an outstanding basketball player and runner for the Raiders, earning four letters on the track, three on the basketball court, and two for cross country.  As a runner, Michele broke, and held until 2002, the school 800m record with a time of 2:19.8, earned Honorable Mention All-Suburban honors, First Team All-League honors, and placed third in the 800m Group 3 State Sectional Meet.  As a hoopster, Michele twice earned All-League, All-County and Athlete of the Week honors and earned First Team All-Suburban honors.

After Ramapo, Michele continued playing basketball at Manhattan College where she was selected to the All-Academic MAAC team for four years, was a GTE Academic All-American (Junior and Senior years), won the Jasper award for Academic excellence in athletics, was one of 16 valedictorians, and was the Pen and Sword Society Captain of her Senior year.  Michele was also named to the All-District Academic team with a 3.87 GPA and was one of 40 in the nation eligible for Academic All-American honors.

Michele resides in St. Charles, Ill with her husband, fellow Ramapo graduate Tom Gordon, and her three children, Tommy (12), Christopher (10), and Ryan (6).  She enjoys jogging and participating in sports and activities with her family.  

Michele’s induction into the Ramapo Hall of Fame continues a family tradition, as she joins her sister Charlene who was inducted in 2006.
