Ken Juall







Ken graduated from Ramapo in 1963 with nine varsity letters to his credit: three each in football, basketball, and baseball.  Ken played both ways for the Raider football team—outside linebacker and a host of offensive and special teams positions including flanker, halfback, quarterback, and kicker—then guard during hoops season and second base for the baseball team.  He received NBIL honorable mention honors and All-Suburban honors for baseball and football and was named first team for the All-Trends (North Jersey) Baseball Team.

After Ramapo, Ken went to St. Michael’s College in Vermont, where he continued with basketball and baseball at the varsity level under coaches “Doc” Jacobs and Ed Markey.  Ken was a guard on the 1965 basketball team that finished fourth in the nation in the Division 2 category.  The tournament that year featured notable players Jerry Sloane, Walt Frasier, and Phil Jackson. During his off time from  school, Ken also played baseball for Wyckoff in the Connie Mack League, Romangino’s in the Hudson County Semi-Pro League, and The Paterson Phillies in the Bergen County Semi-Pro League.  Ken played three years of baseball for St. Michael’s and was named to the All-Vermont team.  In the summer of 1966, Ken played for the championship Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod League. In his senior year, Ken went back to the gridiron and was co-captain and quarterback of the football club. 

After St. Michael’s, Ken was drafted into the Army and attended Officer Candidate School.  He served in Vietnam as a First Lieutenant and was cited for Meritorious Service.  After the military, Ken attended Fairleigh Dickinson University where he earned an MBA.  Ken then started what would be a thirty-five year career in finance for a variety of Wall Street firms.

Ken has five children—Chris, 39; Matt, 39; Bradlee, 35, Jennifer, 25; and Kyle, 22—and seven grandchildren and enjoys a wonderful relationship with Darby Coogan.  He currently resides in Palmetto, Florida where he works as a financial advisor for Moors and Cabot, is involved with The Wellness Society of SW Florida, and enjoys traveling, reading, tennis, and golf.
