   After transferring from Ramsey High School, Edwin Miller spent three years at Ramapo High School earning 9 varsity letters in football, basketball and baseball.  He was chosen captain of all three sports his senior year and left an indelible legacy.

   In football, where he won three varsity letters, Edwin won a letter as a defensive back his sophomore year before switching to playing both offense and defense his junior and senior year when he became the starting quarterback.  Edwin was named co-captain his senior year.  For his accomplishments he was named to the All-League and All-Suburban teams.

   As a three-year varsity letter winner in basketball, Edwin was once-again named captain and selected to the All-League and All-Suburban teams.

   As a catcher on the baseball team, he lettered again all three years and was named captain his senior year.

   Edwin graduated from Cornell University in 1963.  While at Cornell, he played freshman football as well as varsity baseball.

   Following graduation, he became a navy pilot.  His plane was shot down over Vietnam and he spent the next five years as a POW.

   Edwin still runs the family vegetable business in California.  His job title is “Market Gardner”.  Married to Maureen Arthur since 1980, they have three sons, Nathaniel 24, Zachary 22, and Jacob 17.  Today, home is Headsburg, California, where he enjoys cooking, reading and staying active by coaching in youth athletics with his sons.
