Lenny Corn





1965 graduate Lenny Corn was a record-breaking member of the Raiders track program.  Lenny earned three letters for track and holds school records in the long jump  (23’ 6¾”0, 120 yard high hurdles, and 180 yard low hurdles.  Lenny was recognized four times each as First Team All-County and First Team All-League, was twice named First Team All-Suburban, and was named Bergen Record Athlete of the Week.  

From Ramapo, Lenny went off to the University of Maryland where he ran track for two years and nearly broke the Terps high hurdle record as a freshman—he ran 14.0 versus the record of 13.9.  Len’s career highlight was defeating Olympian Richmond Flowers at the Indoor Philadelphia Inquirer meet in the high hurdles.  He placed 2nd at the Milrose Games, 1st at the Quantico Relays, 1st in ACC Conference Indoors in high hurdles and 60 yard dash, and won 4 events against Navy. 

After college, Len wrote music for a music publishing company in LA and toured with the “Rascals” in 1968-1969.  Lenny has one adult son, Jamie, and currently works as an antique dealer.
